You are no longer invited to this event

I have had an issue with people not being available for appointments, despite the fact that they requested -- and I sent -- a calendar invite. Noticing some odd behavior on invitations that I sent to my personal email address from my work email address, I wondered if the issues might be related, so I decided to test my theory today, which confirmed my suspicions.

Here's the scenario:
  • I create an event in Google calendar and invite someone to the event.
  • Before the invited person sees the invitation, Calendar Sync + does its thing and copies the event to my Outlook calendar.
  • When the invited person finally views the invitation (in Gmail, anyway), the invitation says "You are no longer invited to this event." I have attached a screenshot of this email. If that person does attempt to respond to the invitation, they get the error message "Sorry, Calendar cannot load this event. The server may be temporarily unavailable, the event may have been deleted, or you may not have access to it anymore. Please try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, talk to the person who created this event, or visit the Help Center." I was going to attach a screenshot of that as well, but apparently I can only add one attachment.

We have fixed this issue. We'll b releasing another alpha for the same.

This is still happening in Version 1.4. I had to uninstall because of this. Calendar items created in Google have their attendees deleted. This happens even when syncing from Google to Outlook one way, which is strange.
